It will also be a showcase of Salesforce products.The Full Stack Software Engineer role is within Salesforce’s Marketing Website Platforms team, and will help build the next generation of translation automation flows used by marketing teams to localize their global content. Our goal is to remove manual intervention wherever possible, build in intelligence through translation memory, machine translation and dynamic workflows that can be administered by business users.The successful candidate will have expertise in translation and localization technologies or related automation flow building tools, including capabilities related to data storage and string matching approaches, serverless functions and a consistent track record of delivering systems across multiple platforms.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain APIs and services that are consumed by www.salesforce.com as well as other website experiences on the Salesforce digital platform.Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable, extensible, maintainable and observable services.Operate effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment where engineers are expected to be able to design and implement the vital work to ensure quality in their code as well as other engineers'.Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and architects to build new features our internal customers will adopt while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable.Mentor other engineers in development technologies, tools, and processes.Present your designs to internal/external groups and review the designs of others.Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.Qualifications:6-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.Experience building high-scale microservices on AWS (preferred), GCP, or other public cloud substrates.Experience developing front-end and back-end software, preferably including JavaScript or TypeScript, with frameworks such as React and runtimes, including Node.js.Experience working with translation management systems, language service providers, or machine translation tools.Experience in service orchestration using tools like Terraform (preferred).Experience in test-driven development and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, and other related test frameworks a plus).Ability to evaluate a problem space and make the best technology decisions for the end user.Track record of leading highly impactful projects from conception to finish.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A related Technical Degree or equivalent experience.Benefits & Perks:Check out our benefits site which explains our various benefits, including wellbeing reimbursement, generous parental leave, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and more.Accommodations:If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting Statement:At Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
