Assurance Manager

Job ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as the in-charge accountant for a variety of assurance department services (audits, reviews, and compilations) from start to finish.You will work with clients in a variety of industries to meet their various financial statement needs. We have a large expertise in the real estate industry; however, we also serve manufacturers, distributors, professional service firms, and other industries.You will provide technical accounting expertise to both clients and other members of the team on a variety of accounting issues.You will provide guidance and training to new members of the assurance team.Additional ResponsibilitiesRegular and friendly interaction with clients and other members of the team.Effective time and project management to ensure client deadlines are met.Ensure the overall quality of engagements by meeting both professional and firm standards.Skills and Expertise2+ busy seasons serving as an in-charge accountant for audit and/or review engagements a plus.CPA or CPA eligible.Experience with CCH Engagement or similar engagement software.Experience with PPC Checkpoint or similar methodology.Experience providing financial statement services to closely-held entities.Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
