Senior Tax Consultant

ResponsibilitiesYou will prepare a variety of moderate to difficult tax returns including individual, trust, corporate, partnership, and multi-state tax returns.You will work on clients in a variety of industries to provide tax planning, tax preparation, and tax consulting. We have a large expertise in the real estate industry; however, we also serve manufacturers, distributors, professional service firms, restaurants, and other industries.You will assist tax managers and partners with conducting tax research and addressing tax compliance notices for clients.You will provide guidance and training to our tax staff and tax interns as needed.Regular and friendly interaction with clients and other members of the team.Effective time and project management to ensure client deadlines are met.Ensure the overall quality of engagements by meeting both professional and firm standards.Skills and ExpertiseMust have a minimum of 3 years of tax experience.Must be CPA eligible; CPA is a plus.Masters degree is a plus.Proficient with CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx Tax, CCH Engagement, XCM, and other similar accounting software.Knowledge of 1031 exchanges, 704(c), or cost segregation is a plus.Familiarity with RIA Checkpoint or CCH Intelliconnect is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
