Radiation Hardened Defense Microelectronics Technical ConsultantKey Role:Apply engineering skills to transform the Microelectronics industry and enable government organizations to design, fabricate, and field secure and trustworthy systems that build from high integrity Radiation Hardened (Rad Hard) microelectronics. Work with a range of experts spanning the strategy and technology domain to enable secure and trusted access to state-of-the-art microelectronics technologies. Lead technical development and services efforts in support of US Government Microelectronics customers. Establish trusted technical relationships and situational awareness of microelectronics needs and requirements. Identify opportunities to develop and provide technical capabilities to make an impact on U.S. Government missions. Provide people leadership and mentorship in technical areas, as well as programmatic and financial oversight of ongoing tasks.Basic Qualifications:15+ years of experience with supporting US Government community stakeholders in Rad Hard microelectronics technologies, program strategy, and utilization of microelectronics devices, including radiation effects design and testExperience in consulting, customer service, and supporting a client mission over timeExperience with semiconductor fabrication technologies, semiconductor processes, Trusted and State of the Art processes, or respective vendorsKnowledge of defense and Government microelectronics needs and requirements, trends of microelectronics device usage within the community, and various stakeholder roles, responsibilities, and objectives within the microelectronics domainAbility to direct technical expertise supporting Rad Hard Defense Microelectronics customers and build technical relationships, identify opportunities for support, and deliver excellence in technical development projectsAbility to deliver success in technical business development for U.S. Government microelectronics customersAbility to perform technical assessments of microelectronics technologies, develop technology trends and reports, and make key recommendations to the clientAbility to craft effective and functional strategies for microelectronics access that meet the needs of multiple agencies and stakeholdersBachelor's degree in EngineeringAdditional Qualifications:Experience with providing technical support to senior DoD program managers on high-risk, high-reward projects within the Rad Hard microelectronics domainExperience with leading technical teams and projects, with end-to-end people, project, and technical managementAbility to build a business development pipeline in the microelectronics areaMaster's degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or Nuclear Physics preferred; Doctorate degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or Nuclear Physics a plus
