Robotics Application Engineer Responsibilities
Assemble, integrate, test and deploy new robotic automation systems. Conduct research to improve efficiency, scalability and reliability of robotic automation system operations. Understand end-user needs and create detailed requirements and specifications documents. Engineer highly scalable robotic solutions. Review existing robotic solutions performance. Debug and resolve issues. Identify and implement improvements. Ensure achievement of milestones toward successful deployment. Provide guidance to mechanical, firmware and software development teams to test, validate and deploy projects within the committed timeline. Provide technical support. Minimum Qualifications
MS in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, or closely related. Academic program must have included: Designing, integrating, testing and troubleshooting robotic systems; Camera and IMU sensor characterization, integration and fusion; Microcontroller programming for sensors and actuators using C; Aerial robot localization, path planning and motion planning.
