Overview The company's enterprise financial planning and analysis group serves as the critical support partner for Summit’s senior leadership team. The Senior Analyst, FP&A will serve as a key member of the team in Denver, CO with high visibility to senior leadership. The primary responsibilities are to support the Director, FP&A and the senior leadership team in the development and analysis of the annual budget, strategic plan, and monthly forecasts, and provide reporting and analysis of monthly operating results for Summit consolidated and specifically the matrix functions. Play a vital role in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives. Support the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes with the FP&A team for the matrix organizations. Run key analytics to support complex financial models owned by the Enterprise FP&A team. Analyze variances of actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations. Partner with Director of FP&A and Manager of FP&A on developing business cases for investment funding. Prepare comprehensive financial reporting and analysis for senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Analyze Summit’s actual and projected financial statements on a monthly basis. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics. Support the broader finance team and senior leadership team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Required Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal capabilities with ability to effectively work across functions/operating units. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Highly organized & achievement-oriented. Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills. Solid understanding of GAAP and Internal Controls. Education & Experience: BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field. 3+ years of experience in Finance with thorough understanding of Accounting and public company reporting and policies. Experience in a matrix organization strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: Hybrid Office Arrangement – 4 days per week in office. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
