The Academic Partner, in collaboration with the Director of Montessori and the Executive Director of Elementary & Early Childhood Education, is responsible for delivering high-quality instructional resources, enhancing classroom practices, and scaling effective programs within the district's Montessori schools to improve Tulsa Public Schools' student achievement and to prepare all students for success in college, career, and life. The Academic Partner works with the Director of Montessori to provide leadership for Montessori in the district.Minimum Qualifications:Education:• Bachelor's degree in elementary or secondary education, literacy or language, or related field required; master's degree preferred.Experience:• Five (5) years’ experience in effective Pre-K-12 classroom teaching.• Five (5) years’ experience in Montessori instruction and/or coaching.Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:• Current Oklahoma teacher certification required.• Montessori teacher certification required.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.• Knowledge of effective teaching and learning practices to support multilingual learners and students with disabilities highly preferred.
