The OpportunityJoin the Positively Partners team as an HR Generalist and play a pivotal role in our HR outsourcing services. As an HR Generalist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring top-notch service quality, serving as a critical link between our organization, our outsourcing clients, and their employees. This position requires a systems-oriented approach, a proactive mindset, and a desire to develop proficiencies in progressive HR consulting practices. Your primary responsibilities will include directly engaging with employees across multiple organizations, efficiently handling key HR functions, and providing invaluable administrative support to the day-to-day operations of our HR Outsourcing (HRO) team. With a strong emphasis on precision and coordination, you will manage multiple tasks and timelines while maintaining a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. As an HR Generalist, you will report directly to the Vice President that oversees the outsourcing practice.Key ResponsibilitiesONBOARDING & OFFBOARDING (30%):

Efficiently manage the workflow to ensure all onboarding and offboarding tasks are processed accurately and in a timely manner for multiple clients.Follow and enhance process documentation to execute tasks, discuss potential improvements with relevant stakeholders, and document any process changes.Maintain regular communication with new hires and hiring managers, monitoring the completion of onboarding tasks and addressing any queries or concerns.Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation meetings and exit interviews as needed; partnering with Senior Consultants to ensure themes/updates are tracked.Efficiently terminate exiting employees from HRIS and benefit systems, including processing COBRA portal enrollments and any vacation payout.EMPLOYEE RESOLUTION & HRO TEAM SUPPORT (30%):

Manage multiple client "hr@" inboxes, promptly resolving issues or acknowledging receipt and escalating them to HRO team members within 24 hours when necessary.Attend client meetings as requested, taking detailed notes and tracking action items for follow-up.Provide valuable support to HRO team members by drafting documents, correspondence, and presentations as requested, contributing to the team's overall efficiency and effectiveness.Other support needs or projects as needed to support the HRO Team.PAYROLL OPERATIONS & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION (20%):

Maintain accurate data entry for the payroll log for each client, documenting new hires, terminations, payroll or benefit changes, bonuses, or other payroll adjustments and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained for all changes.Review timesheets for each pay period for all clients and follow up with client leadership to ensure timely approval of timesheets before payroll processing.Review each pay cycle's payroll data prior to sending it to the client for final approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.Provide support to Senior Consultants and work directly with employees during client open enrollment periods, to achieve resolutions.Attend regular payroll meetings to monitor payroll processing and related projects or tasks.SYSTEM MANAGEMENT & RECORDKEEPING (20%):

Provide employee support for accessing the PositivelyHR system and troubleshoot access issues.Process employee transfers and job changes, ensuring supervisors have access to their employees within the PositivelyHR system.Support the performance management process by launching review cycles, monitoring completion, and providing status reports to clients.Post job openings for clients on their Applicant Tracking System and other requested job boards and remove once roles are filled, as necessary.Manage offer letter procedures in client ATS systems, including drafting and sending offer letters, modifying letters as needed, and ensuring accurate documentation of the hiring process.Qualifications + ExperienceThere are innumerable ways to learn, grow, and excel professionally. 3+ years of experience in HR including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and payroll operations. Experience in client-facing roles is preferred.Proven ability to efficiently handle HR processes, document procedures, and identify process improvement opportunities.Ability to work autonomously, proactively identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.Proactive attitude and comfort in communicating directly with clients (including attending and managing client meetings) informed by Positively Partners’ research-driven approaches.Demonstrated commitment to DEI principles and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.Strong problem-solving skills to address inquiries, process issues, and client needs effectively.Adaptability to a flexible work environment, including remote work, and the ability to accommodate clients located in various states.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Impeccable ethics and judgment in maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.Excellent organization, attention to detail, and commitment to thoroughness.Job Location:Boston/hybridJob Category:Human ResourcesEmployment Type:Full Time
