This role offers a supportive work environment with professional growth and development opportunities.Duties:Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and disputes, including hearings, mediations, and trials.Advise clients on their rights and options under North Carolina workers' compensation laws.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies to advocate for clients effectively.Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with insurance companies and opposing counsel.Maintain accurate and detailed case files and documentation.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve favorable client outcomes.Stay current with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law.Active license to practice law in North Carolina.Juris Doctorate (JD) or higher degree in law.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) or higher degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.Skills:Strong knowledge of North Carolina workers' compensation laws and procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication abilities.Proven negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in legal research and case management software.Commitment to providing high-quality client service and support.
