Associate Director Finance

for our COSI (Cost of Sales and Inventory) Animal Health Intelligence team in Haarlem. You will have the chance to make a real impact on animal’s lives and work in a dynamic high-tech and international environment.Welcome in our COSI organizationOur Finance team leverages sophisticated financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation techniques to propel medical innovation and enhance animal’s lives. As part of this role, you'll lead a team of finance professionals and review, report, and analyze inventory, production, and product cost data. You will oversee the accounting close and management cycles for our Animal Health intelligence organization across the world.Next to these core activities you will also drive the annual budget cycle of the company where you will be working with your stakeholders in determining manufacturing cost and inventory valuation based on our supply chains. As part of a global team there is plenty of opportunity to be involved in company wide projects.Main responsibilitiesYour main task will be leading the COSI AH Intelligence team, which is responsible for, but not limited to:Management reporting and product cost analysisOversee the annual profit plan for product costing according to US GAAP rulesOversee the control and analysis of monthly production results and variancesIdentify and lead cost control and efficiency improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with SOXSupport the AH Intelligence Finance leadership team and provide accurate financial dataParticipate in division- and company wide projectsYour profileMaster's degree in finance/business/administration/economics.8+ years of relevant (Manufacturing) Finance working experience.Experiences in analytical roles/cost accounting and production analysis using SAP.Experience in preparing accounts in accordance with US GAAP.Strong improvement mindset.Experience with managing, coaching and developing a team.Building a bridge and interact with highly diverse stakeholders.Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.Have the ability to challenge decisions with reasoned financial justificationAble to see the wider picture and how decisions could affect the site, region and division.What we offerWe welcome you to a truly global, dynamic and challenging environment with great opportunities for personal development.
