Regional Director of Pricing

based in our Richmond, VA Branch.

Summary:

The Regional Director of Pricing is responsible for managing all aspects of our pricing strategy including road map, development, implementation and reporting with a focus on maximizing price and margin opportunities. The position will partner with various teams across the organization including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, and IT to ensure the execution of our pricing strategy. The right candidate is a change agent with the ability to drive success - from ideation to execution. As the leader, you are expected to set the tone and standards for how the group executes and manages the strategic direction and day-to-day applications of our pricing strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and implementation of our pricing strategy.Prioritize pricing activities across the organization.Provide strategic analysis and gross margin forecasting by product and customer segments.Create and manage competitive pricing analyses.Monitor current market conditions to seek opportunities to maximize margins and minimize risks.Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, margin opportunities, and communicate to management as necessary.Adhere to consistent processes and documentation.Coach sales staff in understanding sell price structure and utilization.Support the development of our pricing analysts.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and business meetings effectively.Excellent communication skills to interact with all project stakeholders including all levels of users and senior management.Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks.Effective planning, prioritizing, goal-setting skills.Proven ability to develop and articulate impactful pricing analyses, with the aim of driving profit improvement.Ability to develop strong relationships with regional counterparts and corporate pricing leaders to drive standardization and implement best practices.Strong personal interest in digital technology and awareness of industry standards or best-known methods.Ability to mentor pricing team members and guide sales team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in statistics, data science, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience in a Senior/Lead or Manager role with cross functional experience, including sales, marketing and operations.Willingness to learn, listen and teach.Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.HVAC and/or wholesale distribution experience preferred.Pricing experience a plus/Working knowledge of Pricefx is a plus.
