Additional locations may be considered at management's discretion.Primary purpose:The Director of Insurance and Risk Management is responsible for coordinating the procurement of the Company's commercial insurance programs, managing claims, developing and maintaining relationships with third-party service providers including brokers, insurers and TPAs, preparing loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions and planning risk management processes. The Director will also manage the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program, assisting with estimating risks affecting the business, helping determine the level of acceptable organizational risk, and procuring the type of insurance and scope of protection that matches the risk tolerance of Tallgrass' management.Essential duties and responsibilities:Manage all Tallgrass commercial insurance programs including, but not limited to: Workers Compensation, General Liability, Excess Liability, Auto, Property, Business Interruption, Pollution, D&O, Employment Practices Liability, Builders Risk, etc.Prepare risk management and insurance budgets and allocate claim costs and premiums to departments and divisions.Provide for the establishment and maintenance of records including insurance policies, claim and loss experience.Provide due diligence reviews on insurance for all acquisitions and new projects.Assist in the review of major contracts, proposed facilities, and/or new program activities for loss and insurance implications.In cooperation with the General Counsel, maintain control over the claims resolution process.Stay apprised of market conditions and trends and develop industry relationships.Collect renewal information from relevant internal functional groups and manage renewal submissions to the broker.Evaluate proposals as they are received, and prepare recommendations for executive review and consideration, as necessary.Coordinate all insurance company visitations and inspections, including life/safety reviews with Environmental, Health and Safety representatives.Administer and coordinate all interested insurance companies in the event of a catastrophic loss.Review all insurance policies for accuracy along with verifying that audits are conducted properly.Liaison to the different functional groups across the company including, but not limited to, EHS, Engineering, Accounting, Procurement, and Legal.Ensure contracts meet the minimum Tallgrass insurance requirements.Implement ERM framework through analytics such as risk analysis, interviews, workshops, aggregate survey results and risk ratings.Develop the methodology and tactical process for gathering and tracking mitigation plans as it relates to insurance and ERM.Work with Procurement to ensure all activities supporting Tallgrass' Approved Vendor List ("AVL") are maintained.Review and approve all Tallgrass counterparty insurance certificates that are not reviewed by ISNetworld.Work closely with and support Internal Audit activities.Review all Incident Reports as part of the overall management of Tallgrass and Joint Venture insurance programs.Manage all insurable claims as required.Administer the Company's Risk Management Policy.Develop and implement the Company's written and electronic Risk Management programs for policyholders.For full info follow application link.
