The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School invites applications for a tenured Professor position in Finance for appointments beginning in August 2024. This position is available at both Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC campuses.We welcome applications from candidates motivated by the unique opportunity to participate in growing a world-class business school at a premier private university. Candidates will join a growing, research-active finance group with interests in all areas of theoretical and empirical finance.Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a distinguished academic record suitable for a tenured appointment at the full professor level. We seek candidates with research interests that lie at the intersection of the data sciences and finance, preferably with expertise or significant interest in devising and applying artificial intelligence methods for finance. Candidates should have substantive research records with publications as well as pipelines of working papers in these areas targeted at the top journals.Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field. As teaching responsibilities will be at the MBA and master's level programs, evidence of successful teaching in a business school environment is highly desirable.Application Requirements
