We have an excellent opportunity for an early career Environmental Engineer in our Seattle, WA office to support NAVFAC NW, USACE/AF, EPA, USFS, and a variety of EHSS clients including Port of Seattle, and City of Spokane.What you will do:
You will be supporting engineering tasks for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects. Primary responsibilities will include:Researching and evaluating remedial alternatives.Performing calculations.Developing conceptual designs and specifications.Drafting scopes of work for subcontractors.What you will need:B.S. degree in a related engineering field required.0 - 3 years of related experience.Familiarity with State and Federal environmental regulations is desirable (e.g. Washington’s Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and RI/FS and RD/RA actions under CERCLA).Knowledge of remedial system operation and maintenance preferred.Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) required.Strong technical writing skills and communications skills.Must be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.Ability to travel within the Western U.S. including Alaska for project tasks lasting more than a week.Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First-Aid/CPR certifications preferred.Must be comfortable working in office, field, and industrial environments.Anticipated salary of $65,000 to $75,000 per year.What We Offer:401k with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Low deductible health coverage for you and your family through Medical, Dental and Vision plansGenerous paid-time-off policyProfessional DevelopmentHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee wellness programEA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC
