The OpportunityMidland Transport is currently seeking a
Regional Sales Director
based out of Quebec, supporting our Quebec region. The Regional Sales Director is a key member of the sales leadership team and will report into the Vice President of Sales.
What You Will Do:Build, coach and lead Midland’s Quebec sales team which consists of five Account Managers;Ensure sales revenue and gross margin targets are achieved;Achieve revenue plan for LTL, TL, Courier and Brokerage;Maintain key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base in Quebec;Explore new markets, services and products and development of these opportunities for revenue growth;Achieve required rate increases to improve revenue quality on a continuous basis;Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Who You Are:Years of Experience Required: 6-10 years’ experience in the transportation/courier industry;Education Required: Successful completion of post-secondary education, education in Sales and Marketing an asset;Major account experience is an asset;Solid LTL, Truckload and Courier transportation knowledge and experience;Highly motivated and results oriented individual;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Knowledge of transportation operations would be preferred.
