This role will include consumption & share analysis and reporting, cross-functional leadership of key commercialization projects, ownership of strategic sales driving marketing campaigns, as well as total portfolio management. This position requires a candidate to embrace an ownership mentality, demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter, be a cross-functional leader, driver of results, and have a strong ability to communicate/story-tell to all levels of leadership. If you are ready to take on the challenge of this dynamic role, we want to hear from you!Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesBusiness ExecutionApply business analytics (equity, share, volume and revenue drivers, competition) to drive business strategy & executionMonthly Consumption/Share Analysis with outlined action plan to deliver brand share growthPortfolio Management including but not limited to SKU rationalization, strategic prioritization, pack/price architecture, product catalogs etc.Innovation & StrategyDevelop and implement a five-year growth plan that provides strategic innovation directionClosely partner and consult with innovation team to ensure alignment with outlined growth strategyFoster relationships with Marketing, Consumer Insights, R&D, Finance, and Project Management to lead commercialization of renovation and maintenance projectsCommunicationsLead B2B media strategy and execution for the HEINZ brandIntegrate Away From Home into HEINZ Masterbrand B2C comms planDeliver comms-driven partnership ideas that help win new businessCollaborate extensively with brand platform teams and away-from-home customer marketing, taking on the role of leader in both directionsDrive discussions during management presentations with platform GM, and business unit PresidentExpected Experience & Required SkillsConsumer centric & growth mindset – learn fast vs. avoid failurePrior or relevant experience working in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) (forecasting and portfolio management)Seasoned experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG companyExperience in agency management & cross-functional team management; self confident individual who can work collaborativelyStrong personal motivation in fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, with a bias for actionDemonstrated ability to influence teams and experience managing multiple stakeholdersStrong “big picture” perspective, while also executing the initiative at handOutstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills to internal/external partnersExcellent strategic and analytical skills; ability to leverage syndicated data sources to assess competitive space, bringing forth insights and recommendations to integrate into overall strategyAbility to simplify complex problems and make decisions quickly in pursuit of constant forward progressExcellent organizational and project management skillsBachelor’s degree preferred, MBA preferredWork Environment & ScheduleThis is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the local office, with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces.
