The ADDC is seeking a part-time Investigator to join our Special Investigations Division. The Investigator conducts complex and highly sensitive internal and external investigations in support of protecting both corporate assets and personnel. The investigator will be responsible for investigating financial losses, potential insider threats, threats made towards corporate personnel, and possible criminal activity. The Investigator will play a crucial role in safeguarding the people, assets, and reputation of our company. This position entails overseeing and conducting physical security investigations, including workplace violence incidents, security breaches, and reviewing insider threat indicators. In addition, the Investigator may be assigned to support the background investigation process by conducting interviews and surveillance of employees being onboarded to the company. The right candidate will be hands-on, analytical, and adept at managing relationships both internally and externally. This role demands a keen understanding of the investigative process, timely incident response, and effective communication across multiple channels.It is essential that the investigator has excellent judgment and discretion when interacting with others and in managing information. Ideal candidate is professional, organized, able to multitask, strong computer skills including Adobe, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Excel, and has strong communication skills, both written and verbal.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Conduct various types of security investigations and interviews (victim, witness, and subject) in support of industrial security, personnel security, insider threat, executive protection, and employee misconduct investigations.Independently conducts investigations both virtually and in the field by devising, organizing, and executing effective strategies related to interviewing complainants, subjects/ suspects, and various types of witnesses, and obtaining, documenting, and reviewing other factual evidence and records (i.e., surveillance video, personnel records and files, public records, etc.) in order to reach supportable findings and conclusions.Gathers, analyzes, correlates, and thoroughly evaluates observed facts and evidence including interview statements, personnel files and records, public records, supervisory documentation, use-of-force reviews, surveillance footage, and sensitive records.Obtains information concerning the whereabouts of witnesses by locating and interviewing employers, public agencies, families, neighbors, and others; accessing the internet and information databases (e.g., TLOxp, PACER, Department of Motor Vehicle records), and records of other partners and agencies in order to complete an investigation.Interviews and obtains information from witnesses by establishing a dialogue and proactively conducting follow-up interviews and investigation in support of the case.Maintains and organizes case files by ensuring all relevant reports, memoranda, and materials considered to be evidence are properly preserved in order to support investigations and conclusions.May be assigned to conduct background investigations on employees.Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Three (3) or more years of full-time experience as a sworn law enforcement officer conducting criminal investigations or as a licensed private investigator

ORA Juris Doctorate degree and at least one year of investigative experience.Candidates will be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment background investigation which may include a polygraph examination and drug screening.Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance is required.The ability to safeguard confidential information and materials, while maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the work environment, is required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

California BSIS Private Investigator License.California Concealed Weapons Permit.Active US Government security clearance.Additional Information
