This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, business analysis skills, and leadership capabilities to drive business growth and optimize operational processes.Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making and achieve financial targets.Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize liquidity and investment opportunities.Monitor financial performance through regular financial reporting, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) tracking.Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business planning, risk management, and performance improvement.
Business Operations:
Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Evaluate and mitigate operational risks through effective risk management practices and internal controls.Monitor and analyze business trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.Implement performance measurement frameworks and operational metrics to track progress towards organizational goals.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.Communicate financial performance, operational updates, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and external partners.Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and business partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Proven experience in financial management, business operations, and strategic planning, preferably in a leadership role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accounting principles, and financial best practices.The Head of Finance and Business Operations plays a critical role in driving the financial success and operational efficiency of the organization, contributing to its overall growth and sustainability.
