The Partner Abuse Intervention Professional will work directly with perpetrators of intimate partner violence. This individual will oversee intervention groups that serve men and women who have been identified as perpetrators of intimate partner violence, doing everything possible to positively impact how they conduct themselves in the future. The goal is one of rehabilitation and change.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, must be comfortable speaking in groups and with court-appointed professionals. They will possess organizational abilities, basic computer and programming skills, and be willing to help those involved in Intimate Partner Violence incidents.
Minimum requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
Able to pass all applicable background checks.
Willingness to work evening hours as needed and travel within the counties served.
Ability to attend and pass all training requirements to become a Certified Partner Abuse Intervention Professional.
