SALARY RANGE: $80,195 — $89,292, COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE – FULL BENEFITS, VACATION, TELECOMMUTING, FLEX TIME, AND COMP TIME
The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office is seeking applicants for an entry-level ADA position. Applicants must possess a J.D. degree and be admitted and a member in good standing with the New York State Bar, or be in their third year of law school or beyond and be eligible to practice under a Student Practice Order. In this case, the position would be a Law Assistant, and the salary would be lower than the stated range until admitted to the New York State Bar.
The successful candidate will be assigned to a unit based on the needs of the office and the candidate’s background and skills. The applicant must possess superior oral and written communication skills, as well as strong character and interpersonal skills. All candidates must demonstrate exemplary ethics, sound judgment, and an excellent work ethic. Applicants must be interested in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. A valid Driver’s License is also required.
