About the Job:We’re seeking a dynamic IT Planning Manager to drive financial strategy and budgeting for the IT department. You'll oversee budget planning, financial analysis, and create an Allocation Model to optimize IT costs across business units. Collaborating with vendors and managing contract renewals will also be key aspects of your role.
In addition, you’ll align IT strategies with corporate objectives and stay ahead of industry trends to support long-term goals. If you're ready to make an impact through strategic financial planning, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of IT.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a 5-year IT strategy aligned with corporate goals and emerging technology trends.Oversee the IT department’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and providing regular financial updates to management.Track and analyze actual spending versus plan, ensuring accurate cost allocation across business units.Manage the IT Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective project planning, tracking, and regular updates to senior management.Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance, and serve as the point of contact for IT financial audits.Collaborate with IT leadership on vendor pricing models and manage contract renewals.Develop performance metrics to assess the success of IT initiatives and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in business, IT, or finance.Strong business and financial acumen.Expertise in SAP FI and project management.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiations.Experience with financial audits and compliance in an IT setting.Knowledge of technology trends in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.
