You will be part of the Retail Finance team, leading a team focused on devising and implementing global staffing strategy for Appleʼs stores globally: over 500 locations across over 20 countries, with opex in excess of $4B. Our work directly impacts customer experience of Apple globally. The job will entail collaboration with field leadership and a wide set of functional teams (including Store Operations, People, Tax, Compensation, Public Relations, Legal, and AppleCare). The team is split across strategy design, analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The wide range of cross-functional stakeholders mean all team members need to be able to influence decisions effectively. This leader shall partner with and influence various groups, handle confidential information, and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure.Description

Lead and develop a team of financial professionals to staff Apple’s Retail Stores efficiently, while providing a great employee and customer experience.Be a thought leader in our staffing strategy, working with your team, and cross-functional leaders, to devise annual and quarterly staffing plans.Encourage debate and collaboration in this highly complex and nuanced space.Advise senior leaders on how to instrument staffing levels, providing them with a clear understanding of their performance, and the levers to improve it.Establish close relationships with People, Recruitment, Store Operations, Payroll, Tax, Legal and other teams in order to execute initiatives and improve performance.Help craft and deploy technology solutions to streamline operational management of payroll expense.Identify and drive cost saving and efficiency opportunities.Collaborate with counterparts on strategic projects as part of larger cross-functional teams.Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of experience, with management experience.Bachelor's in Finance or other related field.Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience with 1 or more years of management experience.Outstanding influencing skills with a strong executive presence.Deep analytical capabilities and ample financial / quantitative horsepower.Interest in Apple’s business and strategy.A “player-coach” attitude with an ability to build high-performing teams.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
