Yours included.This Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist RN will be responsible for:

Participating in and provides quality improvement support and consultation for hospital and unit/department-based committees, councils, programs and special projects.Collaborating with subject matter experts and advises on performance improvement tools, methods and criteria for monitoring care delivery processes and outcomes.Developing measurement plans and assists in data collection and analysis.Provides support and education for the development of process and outcome performance measures centered on patient safety and quality.Managing select hospital-wide performance improvement projects and initiatives.Facilitating the development of policy, procedures, standards and guidelines that support organizational and regulatory requirements.Creating communications and education related to policy and practice changes.Developing systems to monitor compliance for regulatory requirements and develops action plans for improvement when required.Developing and facilitating or oversees the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars and orientations as directed.Maintaining knowledge of current profession and quality improvement trends through participation in relevant professional organizations and attendance at conferences.To qualify, you must have:A Bachelor of Science in NursingA minimum of 4 years of pediatric nursing experience requiredBoston Children's Hospital experience strongly preferredCPHQ Certification (or similar) preferredAbility to work 40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts Monday through FridayBoston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
