USAC's target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 - $88,165 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Staff Compliance Analyst for the Audit and Assurance Division.This is an outstanding career opportunity for an individual interested in a genuine professional challenge in support of a public-spirited mission.Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Staff Compliance Analyst will perform assessments relating to the four USF support mechanisms to determine improper payments.ResponsibilitiesPerforming assessments to determine improper payments in accordance with applicable rules and guidelines.Preparing clear and concise workpapers and other communications to document the assessment procedures performed and exceptions identified.Communicating assessment status and results, in oral or written format, to program participants and PQA management.Performing project management duties over individual workload.Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training, and share information with co-workers to contribute to the growth and development of the Audit and Assurance Division.Assisting in other special projects as needed.About YouThe successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the Audit and Assurance Division.Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications.Training or Formal Education Fields in Audit, Accounting, Finance and/or Business.Three (3) to Four (4) years of directly related experience.Ability to handle a large variety of details and work with all levels of the organization.Analyze and develop solutions to problems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Prepare and deliver information in a clear, concise and professional manner.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.Ability to translate complex analytical findings into comprehensive insights for business stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Other Desired Experience: Telecommunications Industry; Microsoft Office; Regulatory.USAC is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
