You can do all this and more at UCLA Health.In this role, you will work under the general supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription (3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR)Patient scheduling and appointmentsPerforming dose calculationsTreatment data entryWorking with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CTsThis position will be working in Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, and Westwood locations, as well as other future sites as assigned. May be hired as Radiation Therapist if you possess less than 5 years of experience.Salary Range: $66.04 - $87.12 hourlyQualifications
ARRT License - requiredCRT License - required5 or more years radiation therapy experience - preferredBLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - requiredAria and Epic experience - preferredSkill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units, and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may existTruebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis, CT and MR guided RT experienceAbility to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds - requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and California State License in Radiation Therapy - requiredKnowledge of basic nursing procedures.
