The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, project management prowess, and leadership skills to drive projects from inception to completion. This role demands a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions.

What You'll Do

Project Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in an agile environment. Develop comprehensive project plans, including sprint plans and release schedules, using Jira as the primary project management tool. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to agile principles. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively implementing mitigation strategies and tracking progress in Jira.Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and best practices within an agile framework. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making, resolving conflicts and driving consensus in sprint planning and review meetings. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform project strategies and optimize Jira utilization.Communication and Stakeholder Management:

Foster transparent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues through Jira dashboards and reports. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with the agile process and Jira transparency. Prepare and present project reports to senior management, articulating project status and outcomes, using Jira data for informed decision-making.Team Management:

Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing agile environment. Mentor and coach team members on agile principles and Jira best practices, promoting continuous learning and development. Manage project resources, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity while adhering to agile resource allocation principles.Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and refine agile project management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement within the Jira framework. Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices and Jira customizations to enhance team efficiency.What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree.5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the technology industry with a strong focus on agile methodologies.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software development projects using Jira and agile principles.Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application in Jira.Excellent technical acumen with a deep understanding of software development technologies and tools, including Jira and its integrations.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to foster collaboration in an agile environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to navigate complex project challenges.Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications are a plus.Experience with Jira administration and configuration is highly desirable.Benefits

$150,000 - $175,000 a year

This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Revinate and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s experience, qualifications and location.Revinate values the flexibility of a remote workforce and the benefits of localized hiring.
