The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for driving all technical activities related to their assigned security product within the portfolio - this role acts as the CTO of the product. This includes accountability for completing new technical features on time and within budget in coordination with business peers by managing expectations and ensuring communications with development resources. Further, this role will be accountable for understanding and providing direction/timeline for the resolution of defects and production issues.The candidate will also be responsible for their roadmap related to the product(s) they support to drive technical requirements, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of product features, and work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to drive those efforts.The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology, infrastructure, scalability, and simplicity. The resource will be able to build new and leverage existing relationships to drive the successful delivery of the product and ensure the business can maintain a positive customer experience.Responsibilities will include:Delivering new products and features on-time and in-budgetIdentifying options and providing recommendations to resolve production issuesImplementing embedded security within the network strategies and approachesWorking in an agile environment with development and customer-facing organizations such as marketing and agenciesCollaborating with business product management and marketing execution organizations to co-develop a roadmapLeading and participating on cross-functional teams to execute multi-channel strategiesWorking collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Development, GNT, Regulatory, Legal, IT, Operations, etc.Preparing and delivering executive communications for both business and technical leadershipBenchmarking competition, evaluating new industry trends, and shaping future digital strategies that will drive future growthWhat we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:Bachelor’s degree in technical field or 4 years of equivalent work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Demonstrated knowledge of managed services, or managed security.Experience with launching products in an agile environmentFive or more years of relevant work experience working with customers.Product Management / Development experienceWorking knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar product/project and documentation management toolsG-Suite and Microsoft OfficeStrong project management skills.Even better if you have:Master’s degree in technical fieldHands-on experience in one or a few areas: SASE, SDWAN, MXDR solution, Threat detection and response.Proven experience in operating infrastructure in one of the hyperscale environments: AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCPFour or more years of Product Management / Development experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills.Product and/or customer support experienceKnowledge of Verizon front-end and back-end infrastructureAgile Business experienceStrong business case skills.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.Where you’ll be working
