This is a regular part-time 12-month position, involving being on campus at least 20 hours a week.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a collaborative relationship with the Department of Counseling and Student Affairs.Serve as clinical and administrative supervisor of TFCC counseling practicum and internship students.Engage in the interviewing and selection process of new practicum students, as well as provide an annual orientation.Facilitate weekly individual/triadic supervision and lead weekly group supervision and staff training.Regularly review case notes, treatment plans, and DSM diagnoses.Manage and monitor students' interactions with clients, particularly those in crisis.Oversee the intake process to ensure that clients are appropriate for the center.Identify additional training opportunities for interns on a wide range of topics.Document management and adherence to CACREP, HIPAA, and the Center's Electronic Health Records System.Create and maintain the reputation of the TFCC as a sought-after counseling provider within the Bowling Green community.Provide center hours that are conducive to client availability.Network and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders on the WKU campus and regional community.Engage in community and campus outreach.Develop client recruitment strategies to expand and maintain a diverse client base.Oversee, manage, and coordinate the offering of biofeedback as a quality assured intervention.Requirements:Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program.Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky.At least 5 years of clinical experience since graduating with counseling master's degree and documented training and experience as a counseling supervisor.Experience and formal training beyond the graduate degree.Expertise working with clients individually, in groups, as couples, and families.Understanding of the mission of the TFCC and CACREP-accreditation.Additional Information:Kentucky state law requires all public institutions of postsecondary education to conduct pre-employment criminal background checks to determine suitability for employment.WKU is committed to a policy and practice of providing equal employment and educational opportunities to all individuals.Persons with disabilities, who need reasonable accommodations to participate in the application and/or selection process, should notify the office of Institutional Equity.The following items must be submitted through this electronic talent management system:ResumeYou will receive email confirmation that your submission has been received.
