Mid-Level Giving Operations and Events Manager

The Mid-Level Giving Operations and Events Manager reports to the Associate Director of Mid-Level Giving and is a key team member tasked with helping build and implement revenue growth plans for the Mid-Level program (defined as members who donate $1,000-$4,999 annually) and the planning, production and execution of cultivation and stewardship events. The Mid-Level Giving Operations and Events Manager oversees the operational needs of the Mid Level team as well as producing a roster of special events to engage current and prospective Mid Level members and further their engagement.In addition to executing 15+ events annually, the Manager will be responsible for the development of Mid-Level program department training materials, technical documentation and training of new department staff in the use of the Revolution Online (ROI) CRM. The Manager will also produce analytical reports for program evaluation and planning, and assist the Associate Director in portfolio management for the Mid Level Giving Officers.KQED envisions a public media organization with a culture that centers on human dignity, equity, and belonging. We value the contributions of marginalized people in society — including Black, Indigenous, and all people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ people — and we believe that these communities must be centered in the work we do, and we strongly encourage members of these communities to apply.Salary Information: $94,700-$107,900 AnnuallyEssential Functions:Manage reports and dashboards to monitor and track program performance as a means to inform process improvement and measure progress against departmental objectives and budget.Conceptualize and execute the 15+ KQED Mid-Level events each year, managing all aspects of planning, vendor and contract management, production and post-event administration of in-person, hybrid and virtual events.Continuously conduct donor pipeline analysis to discover trends, insights, and gaps among prospect and donor pools, and MLO portfolios.Manage all Mid-Level events produced offsite and in KQED’s onsite theater, coordinate asset management, assemble slide decks and other digital graphics, create and distribute cue sheets and collaborate with A/V technicians.Identify and translate department needs into comprehensive, accurate business requirements.Work with department members to identify unmet needs and unresolved technical issues.Collaborate with Membership and Development teams to promote best practices in gathering, storing, and maintaining data in the ROI CRM.Serve as the department representative on the KQED/ROI core team.Other essential duties as required.EDUCATION:

N/AYEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

2+ yearsKNOWLEDGE:Minimum of 2 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, event management and CRM management.High level of proficiency with CRM/fundraising software as well as event and data technology platforms.Experience running high-level events, including the ability to respond to last minute requests.Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in complex event planning required.Demonstrated ability to write effectively for various purposes.Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to details and ability to manage multiple competing assignments.Committed to working collaboratively and within a team and across departments.Experience monitoring budgets, tracking expenses and soliciting bids.Must have a car and valid California driver’s license.
