Responsibilities:
The Documentation Specialist will support Barrow Wise's State of Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) project and perform the following duties:
Gather, analyze, and compose technical information.
Conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
Use the standard help compiler to prepare all online documentation (for applications built to run in a Windows environment).
Minimum Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Associate degree in a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in technical writing and documentation experience about all aspects of IT.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in preparing technical documentation, including researching for applicable standards.
