is New Mexico’s largest Personal Injury law firm, seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join our growing team! With the support of our team of assistants, you will be able to focus on maximizing the outcome of each case. You will also have the support of a collaborative team of attorneys.Location:
Albuquerque, NM (relocation assistance of $10,000 provided)Pay:
$200,000 to $400,000 plus per year (base salary + performance-based bonuses paid twice monthly)Sign On Bonus:
$25,000 signing bonus (payable at 3, 6 and 12 months of employment)Full Benefits:

Licensed in New Mexico or ability to become licensed through reciprocity or UBE score3+ years experience litigating personal injury cases (plaintiff or defense)Ability to relocate to Albuquerque, NM ($10,000 relocation assistance package provided)Be available in the office, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (and more as required for caseload)Position Description:
MISSION STATEMENT:
Using intelligent, compassionate, and determined advocacy to effectively maximize recovery of the value of our client’s harm, and the wrong that caused it.RESULTS / OUTCOMES:
Be in the office from 8 AM to 5 PM, if not out of the office at meetings, hearings, depositions, or trials.Review and note action on out-of-standard cases with lead attorney weekly.Resolve cases within Full Settlement Value (95%).Full attorney fee (95% of cases).Convert clients (90%).Bring in $1.5 Million in attorney fees per year.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Intake / First Meeting with Client
Show compassionNote all facts pertinent to liability, damages, coveragePosture case by articulating client and office action itemsEvaluate and direct investigation to begin building case for trialDetermine insurance coverageNegotiation
Prepare case for trialEvaluate Full Settlement Value, and obtain authorizationNegotiate with adjusters; keep client informedSpeak with adjusters, build and maintain negotiation relationshipsFile suit where needed, and prepare client for litigationLitigation
Prepare pleadings and discovery for lawsuitsPrepare case for trial, arbitration, and/or mediationGeneral
