We partner with teams across the enterprise to driveeffective change at scale, enabling strategic innovation across businesslanes.The Transformation and Operational Excellence Director will provide strategicsupport to the Vice President in enhancing the overall effectiveness of thetransformation team, in particular: (1) measuring enterprise changeeffectiveness, implementing recommendations to enhance and scale the DaVitaWay of Change; (2) designing and implementing a portfolio management andgovernance process and pipeline, to manage overall enterprise risk; and(3) partnering with our talent, learning and communication functions tointegrate the DaVita Way of Change in our cultural DNA. This role will play akey role in implementing new processes and experiences across theenterprise, ultimately driving best practices across DaVita clinics.The Transformation and Operational Excellence Director should possess strongbusiness, strategic & analytical acumen, with experience bringingrecommendations to senior stakeholders; strong project management andcreative problem solving, able to manage multiple project workstreamssimultaneously; and experience executing on change management, and / orprocess improvement at scale. The Director will partner with teams across theenterprise, to build consensus, collaborate and drive ownership and shouldbe a strong communicator, able to lead through influence. They will alsolead a team of mid-level and more junior professionals, and should be astrong team leader, building the overall capability of the team.This role will require working in a fast paced and highly collaborativeenvironment, with a high level of emotional intelligence. Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:Ensure effective execution of change governance (Air Traffic Control,Cleared for Launch, etc.) processes, driving continuous improvement todeliver value to our stakeholdersAssess current measures of change effectiveness and develop and implementrecommendations to enhance the consistency and effectiveness of changeinterventionsImplement portfolio tracking and governance process for all enterpriseinitiatives, to drive differentiated teammate experience, more efficientuse of resources, and innovationLeveraging technology platforms (e.g., SmartSheets) to establish aprocess for tracking impact, progress and value of enhancements andinitiatives, with dashboard reporting across all initiatives andenhancements that provide real-time insight of impacts at enterprise,Palmer, role, and initiative levelsPartnering with talent, learning and communication functions to integratethe DaVita Way of Change in our cultural DNAManage a portfolio of small change initiatives, implementing standard toolsand templates to drive consistent adoption and outcomesContinue to evolve a standard practice for change management and deploymentand lead adherence to those methodologies throughout the team and organizationEnterprise Portfolio Management (Governance)Ensure execution of regular governance activities through Air Traffic Control(ATC) process with a high level of service excellence to partners andstakeholdersDevelop recommendations for portfolio tracking and governance process for allenterprise initiatives, oversee implementation and ongoing assessmentAssess pipeline to drive insights and recommendations, to drivedifferentiated teammate experience, more efficient use of resources, andinnovationBuild out capability to deliver consistent project management acrossenterprise through effective framework, tools and resourcesChange Strategy and DeploymentUnderstands DaVita's strate ic business roadmap and ensures change strategyaligns to roadmapDevelop a team of internal change management consultants that support mediumto small size projects in a advisory or coaching model around creatingactionable deliverables for all change management levers: communicationsplan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistancemanagement plans, etcConduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholdersDefine and implement the appropriate level of engagement with project partnersand sponsorsContinually evolve Runway's deployment standards, tools and templates inaccordance with industry best practices while incorporating DaVita's uniqueapproachPartner with talent, learning and communication functions to integrate theDaVita Way of Change in our cultural DNA, delivering on a consistentteammate experienceProject ManagementManages multiple project workstreams simultaneously, reporting out on keymilestones, status, delivery and risksCommunicate any adjustments that are made to direction, activities,resources, pace, schedule, etc. as required to align projects withevolving Business Partner priorities, objectives and expectationsLeverage technology platforms (e.g., SmartSheets) to establish a processfor tracking impact, progress and value of enhancements and initiatives,with dashboard reporting across all initiatives and enhancementsBuilding RelationshipsInfluence, coach and communicate effectively in and across teams, to buildconsensus for recommendations and drive ownership
