KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review federal and state corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Analyze and prepare tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including the calculation of the effective tax rate, deferred taxes, and tax disclosures for financial statements. Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance on tax impacts of business decisions. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for tax filings and provision calculations. Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations at both the federal and state levels and analyze the effects on the company. Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities. Implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits. Maintain and improve internal controls related to tax processes and documentation. Assist in special projects and perform additional duties as required. Experience with partnership tax compliance is a plus and will be highly regarded. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred. 4-5 years of progressive tax accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department. Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate tax compliance and experience with tax provision under ASC 740. Experience with partnership tax compliance is highly desirable. Understanding of international tax compliance is a significant advantage. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
