The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, estate administration, elder law, and special needs planning. This role involves representing clients through the estate planning process, drafting important documents, and managing trust and probate administration matters.Duties:Represent clients in the estate planning process, offering strategic advice and guidance.Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.Assist clients with trust funding, ensuring proper management and allocation of assets.Oversee and manage trust and probate administration, ensuring adherence to legal deadlines and requirements.Conduct thorough legal research to support complex estate planning and administration issues.Collaborate with clients, financial planners, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of legal processes and documentation.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in trusts and estates, including expertise in estate planning, estate administration, elder law, and special needs planning.Admission to practice law in New York State or the ability to waive into the NYS Bar.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in New York State or the ability to waive into the NYS Bar.Skills:Expertise in drafting and reviewing estate planning and trust administration documents.Strong analytical and research capabilities.Effective client communication and case management.Proficient in managing complex trust and probate administration matters.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
