The ideal candidate will have over ten years of experience and a proven track record in estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and business succession planning. This role requires a professional eager to take on significant client contact, collaborate with seasoned partners, and mentor younger associates. The candidate should possess strong client relationship, project management, and negotiation skills and be committed to solving complex business issues.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on various estate planning matters, including tax and estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, and charitable planning.Counsel individuals, families, executives, and business owners on wealth preservation and business succession planning strategies.Draft, review, and finalize complex estate planning documents, ensuring they meet each client's specific objectives.Oversee the administration of trusts and estates, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and the decedent's wishes.Negotiate and resolve disputes related to estates and trusts, utilizing strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Work closely with clients to understand and address their complex financial and business issues, offering tailored legal solutions.Mentor and guide junior associates, fostering their professional development within the firm.Collaborate with other senior attorneys and partners on significant, multi-faceted cases, contributing expertise in estate and trust law.Engage in business development activities to grow the firm's client base, including networking, client outreach, and participation in relevant industry events.Requirements:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and business succession planning.Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.Excellent project management and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex legal projects.Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and finalizing complex legal documents related to estates and trusts.Ability to mentor and guide junior associates, providing constructive feedback and support.Experience working in a large law firm environment is preferred.Commitment to solving complex business issues and providing tailored legal solutions to clients.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Education & Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier, ABA-approved law school.Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.Skills:Expertise in estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and business succession planning.Proficiency in tax and estate, financial, and charitable planning.Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Advanced document drafting and senior review capabilities.Excellent client relationship management and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with senior partners and contribute to team success.Strong mentoring and leadership abilities, focusing on developing junior talent.High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all legal matters.Strong commitment to client service and ethical practice.
