A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Senior Estates and Trusts Attorney. The ideal candidate will deeply understand estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation. This role requires a solid commitment to client relationship management, project management, and negotiation. The attorney will be expected to provide sophisticated legal counsel to individuals, families, and business owners, guiding them through complex estate, tax, and corporate law matters. The successful candidate will have extensive experience, a solid academic background, and the ability to mentor junior associates while working collaboratively with seasoned partners.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on all estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation aspects.Draft, review, and negotiate complex estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal instruments.Manage trust administration, including asset transfers, tax planning, and compliance with state and federal laws.Provide counsel on probate administration, ensuring the efficient and effective settlement of estates.Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer, including estate and generation-skipping tax planning.Counsel clients on business succession planning, including structuring and implementing succession plans for family-owned businesses.Guide executives and business owners through various corporate law matters, including entity formation, governance, and regulatory compliance.Maintain and develop strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.Mentor and supervise junior associates, guiding legal strategy, document drafting, and client management.Collaborate with partners and other senior attorneys to develop and implement strategic plans for the firm’s Estates and Trusts practice.Engage in business development activities, including client outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.Stay current on changes in laws and regulations affecting estate planning, trust administration, and related areas.Requirements:A minimum of 10+ years of experience practicing in estates and trusts law, focusing on estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation.Demonstrated experience advising clients on tax, estate, financial, and charitable planning.Strong business succession planning and corporate law background, with experience counseling business owners and executives.Proven ability to manage complex legal projects, including document drafting, negotiation, and senior review.Experience in a large law firm environment is strongly preferred.Exceptional client relationship management skills, focusing on providing high-quality, personalized service.Strong project management and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Commitment to mentoring and developing junior associates.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier, ABA-approved law school.Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.Skills:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on resolving complex legal and business issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.Strong interpersonal skills, building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.Proficient in legal research tools and estate planning software.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Location:
