Responsibilities:

Review and analysis of the electrical and other discipline drawings, specifications, and submittals;3D modeling of pathway and circuiting layout consistent with the electrical design based on the direction provided by the project VDC lead and field installation leads;Equipment layout adjustments based on the direction provided by the project VDC lead and according to the engineering design;Participation in the design coordination process and resolving coordination conflicts;Production of coordination/shop drawings, installation details;Production of sketches to support field installation tasks;Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related concepts;Knowledge of the field installation best practices;Knowledge of critical design software including Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and MS Office.Experience:

Field experience with electrical installations is strongly desired;Design experience with the listed tools is strongly required.General Requirements:

Attention to detail;Strong problem-solving skills;Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline team;Commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;Must have a high school diploma or GED with 10-12 years of experience.Certifications and Licenses:

Completed electrical apprenticeship and journeyman or master electrician status strongly desired.Abilities:

Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time;Sitting for extended periods of time;Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction;Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard;Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences;Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand;Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing;Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense;Identify and understand the speech of another person.
