Job Overview:

A law firm in Fresno, CA, seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage and oversee complex litigation cases, ensuring high-quality representation and strategic counsel for clients.Duties:Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, civil rights cases, and employment litigation.Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies and ensure effective client representation.Conduct client meetings, depositions, and negotiations as necessary.Stay updated on legal developments and changes in the law that may impact ongoing cases.Requirements:6-8 years of litigation experience, focusing on handling complex legal issues and high-stakes litigation matters.Proven experience in trial preparation, including witness interviews, evidence gathering, and case strategy development.Excellent understanding of courtroom procedures and the ability to effectively present cases before judges and juries.Strong case management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.Must be in good standing with the CA State Bar and possess an active license to practice law in California.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Legal research and writing proficiency.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
