Commercial/Litigation Trial Attorney

A law firm in Montvale, NJ, is seeking a highly experienced Commercial/Litigation Trial Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience, possess a strong background in handling challenging and complex cases, and demonstrate expertise in various aspects of commercial litigation.Duties:Handle commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, including client intake, discovery, case management, and trial representation.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.Maintain accurate and thorough case records and documentation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation and trial practice.Proven track record of success in handling complex commercial litigation matters.Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admission to the New York State Bar is desirable.Skills:Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and trial advocacy.Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case analysis.Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.Additional Preferred Qualification:A portable business is a plus.
