The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Storage Subject Matter Expert to support the TN11/JRSS contract in a fully remote work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components.
  • Configure and maintain virtual machines, clusters, and storage within the VMware environment.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of the VMware infrastructure.
  • Perform routine system administration tasks including patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of VMware infrastructure by implementing best practices and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions to ensure reliable and efficient backup and recovery processes.
  • Configure and manage backup jobs, replication, and other backup-related tasks.
  • Perform regular backups, restore operations, and ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco ISE infrastructure to provide network access control and identity management.
  • Implement and maintain policies for authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) using Cisco ISE.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network access control and identity management.
  • Able to routinely assess and remediate security vulnerability findings.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Requires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Requires at least 10 years of system engineering experience.
  • Currently possess a DoD Secret clearance or higher prior to start.
  • Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ce.
  • Requires 5 years vSphere ESXi hosts and vCenter servers experience.
  • Require 5 years experience completing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) assessments.
  • Familiar with risk management process.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) - VMWare.

Pay Range: Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
