In September of 2017, Bob Evans Farms was acquired by Post Holdings, Inc. and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division. Other divisions of Post include Post Consumer Brands (Cereal), Weetabix (Cereal - UK), Michael Foods (Foodservice), and 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (Private Label). Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for new business development for Bob Evans Farms, Inc. This includes identifying sales opportunities and analyzing appropriate, strategic business and industry drivers. The position also develops, implements, and manages a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals. This person will be accountable to grow the current relationship / business with one or more of our top ten customers.

Accountabilities:Manages a significant customer account portfolio of accounts (>$20M in sales) or has direct report responsibilityAccountable for sales performance vs. plan (AOP delivery), revenue, and margin targets for assigned accounts and assigned categoriesResponsible for accurate demand plans and addresses gaps in customer strategic planCollaborates with broker teams to ensure key sales goals are achieved at assigned accountsBuilds relationships with key decision makers and is responsible for day-to-day relationship at assigned accounts and is the primary contact for the buyerConducts monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with customers focused on sales results, new item performance, and growth opportunitiesBuilds strategic relationship through joint business planning and customer collaborationWorks closely with Category Management team to identify whitespace opportunities and to develop annual plans to address opportunityCommunicates Innovation, category insights, shopper insights, that drive impactful results for ourcustomers and Bob EvansReviews analysis and consumer data to understand product performance and category trendsDefines and communicates customer requests to the organization - becomes voice of customer to the organizationDevelops promotional plans and tactics; responsible for planning and managing promotional spending / calendarExecutes revenue generation strategies including support for new item rollouts, expanded distribution, and development of strategic category business plansCollaborates with various internal teams to create winning business propositions that be benefit Bob Evans and the customer (Category Management, Trade Management, Brand, Shopper Marketing, and E-Commerce)All other duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration (or related field)Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge selling in the CPG industryProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction.
