We adhere to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.LocationPosition is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLegal Project ManagementIn collaboration with attorneys, develop and manage case plans for our litigation cases, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, assigned, and tracked to completionServe as a point of contact for case-related inquiries and updatesCalendar dates and deadlines utilizing firm tools, including calculating deadlinesMonitor the progress of tasks, identify any bottlenecks or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on trackCollaborate with attorneys and legal assistants to ensure a cohesive approach to task creation, management, and executionContribute to the continuous improvement of case planning processes and toolsIn collaboration with the Resource & Training Manager, evaluate the workload of the attorneys and legal assistants on a weekly basis, and ensure that tasks are equally distributed, properly planned, and timely executedLitigation Support : Prepare litigation related documents, including pleadings and discovery (propounding and responding). Assist with trial and deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial bindersClient Communication : Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiriesSupport Legal Assistants : Provide overflow support to legal assistant team with executing tasks, including filing court documentsOther duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.), and document management applicationsKnowledge of civil court procedures and understanding of filing requirements for legal documents. Experience with Calendar Rules preferredProven experience in legal project management. Experience with Asana preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment with excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality workStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEducation and Experience3+ years of experience within a law firm litigation environmentBachelor’s degree requiredParalegal certificate preferredSalary Range$33.65 - $48.08 per hour (equivalent to $70,000 - $100,000 annually), depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus
