Here is your chance to join the Crown Food Business Unit.Location:Owatonna, MNPosition Overview:The Manufacturing/Maintenance Manager couples technical expertise with plant systems knowledge to provide overall leadership and direction for plant maintenance team focusing on equipment reliability and uptime, facilities/utilities maintenance, and systems support to production. This position will help develop technical expertise and talent and ensure the most effective use of resources on all shifts.

The position supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery.Primary Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain preventive as well as predictive maintenance programs.Support the internal customer in areas such as equipment/line audits, overhauls and equipment conversion, initial runs, etc.Interact with other members of the Company, Manufacturing, Corporate Technical Center, EH&S to develop strategies, resolve problems and implement solutions.Keeps up on technological changes such as retrofitting machinery to meet todays new law and efficiency standards.Manage, coach, and/or develop plant maintenance employees.Prepare and administer department budget within established guidelines for maintenance and repair of building and equipment as well as

secures estimates and cost quotes as needed.Drives root cause identification and analysis for maintenance-related failures and identify opportunities to improve.Maintains appropriate levels of maintenance spare parts under inventory control.Arranges for, and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.Works closely with Operations Management to ensure that production efficiencies are maximized.Responsible as an on-call contact for high priority issues and emergencies

including; equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of support personnel as needed.Facilitates and supports EHS programs such as hazardous waste disposal program.Leads by example, to instill and enforce a world class safety and housekeeping culture.
