The successful candidate will join the firm’s dynamic Product Liability practice group, representing clients in complex litigation cases. Assist in the defense of product liability claims, including claims related to defective products, consumer goods, and industrial equipment.Conduct thorough legal research to analyze and develop case strategies.Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with courts.Manage discovery processes, including preparing and responding to discovery requests, and conducting depositions.Participate in trial preparation, including developing witness testimony, expert reports, and trial exhibits.Attend hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and case strategies.Communicate with clients, providing regular case updates and legal advice.Assist with settlement negotiations and resolution strategies.Requirements:

Experience:

2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on product liability cases preferred.Prior experience handling discovery, depositions, and trial preparation is required.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Excellent academic credentials are required.

Licensure and Certifications:

Admission to the Washington State Bar is required, or the ability to waive in.

Preferred Experience:

Federal clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff.Experience with litigation technologies and e-discovery tools is a plus.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle settlement discussions.
