iCIMS is looking for a Director, Total Rewards to provide overall strategic oversight and guidance for the company's approach to global compensation and benefits. Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the Director, Total Rewards will be responsible for global compensation programs including salary, bonus, and equity plans, as well as global benefit and wellness programs, and partner across the people organization on talent experience strategy and priorities.The Director, Total Rewards should possess experience developing compensation philosophies for companies ranging in size from fast growth startups to publicly traded companies. Ideal candidates will have a proven history of influencing with a combination of subject matter expertise, relationship-building abilities, and a passion to create equitable and inclusive programs that contribute to a great company culture.The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate Total Rewards strategies into meaningful messaging for candidates and employees, ensuring these programs are a clear part of the overall employee experience.The candidate should have management experience building and coaching a team, as well as working cross-functionally with key dependencies in other departments.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Employee Compensation + Employee BenefitsOversee continued iteration and implementation of a Total Rewards plan that aligns with iCIMS’ global business and is inclusive of all rewards (base salary, short and long-term incentives) and global benefits (health and welfare, 401k/retirement, voluntary benefits, and wellness initiatives).Develop simple tools that can be used by recruiters, candidates, and employees to effectively communicate all aspects of a Total Rewards compensation package.Partner with CPO, CFO and communications function to effectively tell the value story of all iCIMS compensation and benefits plans and programs.Lead successful annual compensation planning including but not limited to execution of base salary, bonus, short and long term incentives, benefits and all related communications and administration.Provide thought leadership to the business on compensation issues including new hire packages, performance recognition, incentive plans, retention arrangements and overall compensation structure.In partnership with Finance, establish compensation budgets and guidelines for all iCIMS locations, globally.Establish and maintain alignment between performance management and future succession planning processes and pay programs.Partner cross-functionally and externally on current and future equity programs.Executive Compensation & GovernanceAlign with leadership, including CPO, CFO, Legal and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors on strategic plans for Executive Compensation.Coordinate preparation of executive compensation disclosure information required in Compensation Discussion and Analysis in a Proxy and assist in preparation of communication materials for Comp Committee and Board of Directors meetings.Compensation systems and processesEvaluate current systems and processes for efficiency and scale.Partner closely with Talent Operations on data and the HRIS system.Partner with finance and HRBPs for effective administration of payroll globally.QualificationsMinimum of 7+ years of experience in compensation, benefits and HRIS with a focus on innovative, fast-paced global environments.Strong understanding of interdependencies in program and systems design, legal and tax and financial implications of all compensation elements (base, bonus and equity).Experience in leading large-scale projects with heavy change management requirements.Demonstrated experience building and coaching a team, as well as working cross-functionally with key dependencies in other departments.Ability to handle confidential information with high levels of discretion.Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources or related field preferred.Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering cross-functional projects and initiatives.Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail.EEO StatementiCIMS is a place where everyone belongs.
