Purpose within the Organization:The purpose of this position is to assist the Jimmy John's at Grand Canyon University by working as a Food Service Worker.
Responsibilities:As a food service worker, you are responsible for the preparation, presentation and execution of all the items on the menu.The ability to prepare and present all items on the menu in a timely manner.Efficiently running your station during your shift.Exercising good safety, sanitation and organizational skills.Equipment Used and Responsibility
POS System, taking orders on a cash registerProofing Oven-proofing frozen dough during the day.Baking oven, making fresh bread in the daySlicer-Slicing deli meats during the dayDishes - Hand Washing dishesQualifications:
Ability to quickly grasp and utilize new concepts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellence in time management with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.Detail oriented with the ability to handle stress during peak times.Seeking individuals with the ability to collaborate with all members of the team.Education:

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's programRetain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level studentMaintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
