Vantage is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to develop our business with Elevator Contractors in the Mid - Atlantic territory of the United States. The Territory Sales Manager will work in our fast-paced, expanding sales team to drive proactive value creation and revenue generation for our elevator-related products. In this consultative-based selling role you will work with strategic and prospective Elevator Contractors and Consultants to find and close sales opportunities through active selling. This includes but is not limited to lead qualification, opportunity management, and key account management. This position requires an individual with strong strategic and technical selling skills who can collaborate with customer technicians and management to drive value-based solutions and lasting business partnerships.

Our ideal candidate can create and close deals that are technical by nature. In addition, they will be able to identify our clients' key initiatives and develop sales strategies to deliver long-term value to the client and Vantage. They must exhibit a strong customer satisfaction mindset, work ethic, and drive to succeed. This technical sales professional must have an energetic, enthusiastic outlook, and enjoy learning and problem-solving as part of a growing team.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:Bachelor's degree in a business or technical disciplineMinimum of 8 years of technical sales and key account management experience serving the Elevator Industry, with a proven track record of success.At least 5 years of experience in elevator modernization, with a strong understanding of the latest technologies and industry standards.Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented organizationWorking Knowledge of the MS Office suite of softwareProven business development skills and previous experience utilizing CRM in managing sales activitiesDuties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

Perform B2B sales activities from lead generation through closure within the Elevator Contracting & Consulting businessVisit customer business & job sites to support/promote Vantage company's products & servicesPromote and sell Elevator Equipment solutions including, Machines, Controls, Door Equipment, and Signal Fixtures with special emphasis on packaged solutions combining all areas of our portfolioResearch sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potentialDevelop & maintain strong customer relationships with decision makers at key accounts and consulting firmsCreate and maintain account plans for existing customers, highlighting profile, market share, competition, and value opportunitiesFormulate strategies for building and growing the accounts and maximizing their potential valueResearch, gather, analyze, maintain and disseminate information about assigned accounts; develop exceptional knowledge of the customer and competitors and be well versed in the customer's problems, initiatives, goals, needs, and issuesCoordinate sales efforts with sales management, accounting, and technical services groupsProvide regular sales activity reports and appropriate feedback from the field utilizing MS CRMBenefits of Working With Us
