Shift

Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week). Frequent evening and weekend work. Daytime hours will be flexible to make room for evening and weekend responsibilities.

Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Fraternity and Sorority Life office isseeking a Fraternal Housing Coordinator, who will be responsible forthe overall management of a university owned chapter house.Responsibilities include: providing on-site monitoring of residentialfacilities by living full-time in the chapter residence, daily interactionwith student members, and communication with various offices andcampus partners. In addition to working within the chapter house,Fraternal Housing Coordinators help support the overall functions ofthe fraternity and sorority community at the University of Kentuckywhich consists of more than 5,600 students representing 50chapters across four councils.

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesExperience working with fraternities & sororities.Experience working in a residence hall or other group living situation.Evidence of administrative and advising skills.Good interpersonal skills and judgment.Independence and professionalism.Experience working with leadership development programs.Experience planning educational programs for students.Computer skills (particularly experience with databases).

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer a Master's degree in Student Personnel, College Administration, or a related field.
