Role Summary
The Business Solutions Associate is a member of the Business Architecture team aligned to a key project or domain to provide analytical, tactical & operational support to realize product vision. Responsibilities require a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and skill to develop rapport with key stakeholders, exercise responsible independent judgment and to operate with initiative and intuition to support the needs of an evolving organization that is both fast-paced and customer-focused.
This role partners with Business Solutions Managers, Advisors, Specialists, PMO (Project Management Office) and IT to analyze, document and communicate information with an aptitude for solution design and problem management while being creative, human-focused, and practical to support project execution.
The Business Solutions Associate will prioritize, manage, and implement tasks with a moderate level of oversight and a keen sense of urgency to execute key deliverables and support project timelines. This role reports to the Business Architecture Domain Head.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops knowledge and relationships to contribute as a subject matter expert for Claims Transformation business and technology projectConducts thorough analysis and creates organized, well designed, professional documentation as needed by the project, which may also include metrics and quantitative researchParticipates in meetings where information needs to be captured, distilled, and formalized into communication material for project team and stakeholders to memorialize decisions, capture actions and/or drive next steps and accountabilityReviews and creates scenarios for project testing and coordinate user acceptance activitiesCommunicates and demonstrates new enhancements or resolved production issues implemented through technology to key stakeholdersConducts research to understand industry standards, trends and to inform a deeper understanding of the competitive landscapeUses tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document business requirements; is responsible to track and report defects, issues, and risksPerforms production launch validations and responsible to sign-off on key deployments and fixes for new releases, features, and defect resolution based on testing outcomesMay develop formal documentation or presentations for executive and stakeholder managementMinimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in business, computer science or information systemsMinimum three to five (3 - 5) years of relevant Life insurance and/or Annuity industry experienceStrong analytical skills, with ability to diagnose problems and recommend action plans to resolve mitigate impact.Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced, customer-centric environment, highly energized and demonstrates sound judgmentProficient knowledge of the Microsoft office software applicationsDemonstrated communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to translate technical information to be understood by various audiences using multiple methods and channels.Displays an elevated level of energy, persistence, and a positive outlook towards team members working in a highly collaborative and dynamic atmosphere.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, finance, information systems or equivalent work experience.Proficient knowledge of Atlassian tools including Confluence and JiraCore Workdays
This position is presently onsite/hybrid with the expectation that you are in the office three days per week with current campus days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion).

Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
