a360 Media is hiring a Full-Time Commerce Account Manager to join our growing Commerce division.The Commerce Account Manager will play a critical role in shaping our data-driven approach, leveraging insights to inform decision-making, and driving strategic initiatives to optimize reporting and performance across our digital publishing brands for the affiliate commerce department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading digital media company.This role will utilize advanced data analytics techniques and tools to create analysis around performance, business optimizations, and market trends. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to deliver data-driven insights and opportunities for optimization. The individual in this role should expect to update reports and pull data daily for internal needs and external clients. The role will require work over certain retail holidays - Prime Day, Cyber Week, etc.Working closely with revenue and data insights tools, this team member will ensure that editorial direction and department strategy are aligned with business goals and KPIs. Additionally, this position will work with our Affiliate Campaign Manager on client accounts to facilitate streamlining affiliate sales processes for our growing client roster.The successful candidate will also spearhead our affiliate accounting and payment processes with the internal accounting team to apply affiliate network commission payments, flat fee bonus payments, and communicate with clients regarding payments as needed.This position may be remote (East Coast preferred) or New York City - If in New York City, our downtown Manhattan NYC office operates on a hybrid schedule, three days in the office and two days remote.Responsibilities:Data Management:

You will lead all phases of analytic work, from problem definition to representation of resultsAccounting Support:

Facilitate accounting requests, analyze and apply lump sum payments as needed, and provide assistance with any brand-related issues.Campaign Execution:

Oversee the updating of performance reporting, manage tracking links, and add promotions. Build out campaign tracking and marketing dashboards as needed.Communication and Reporting:

Prepare weekly/monthly reports, along with ad-hoc reporting requests from partners.Campaign Management:

Oversee execution of paid marketing placements. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all placement assets are submitted in a timely manner.Problem Resolution:

Identify and resolve any issues that arise. Proactively address potential challenges and implement solutions to ensure client satisfaction.Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze campaign and internal performance using various metrics and tools. Prepare reports and assist in presenting findings to clients and internal teamsMarket Research:

Stay updated on industry trends, affiliate landscape, and emerging platforms to provide clients with innovative and relevant recommendations and/or guidance on current or potential.Strategy and Planning (as needed):

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and refine campaign strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on industry trends and performance metrics.Growth Analysis:

Responsible for crafting strategies to enhance performance through commission structure testing, dynamic attribution, and cross-channel analysis.Cross-Department Data Streamlining : Work closely with the Commerce, Accounting, and Revenue reporting teams to achieve optimal use of data in all channels and provide continuous data system improvements both internally and to grow affiliate revenue.

Required Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in account management with a focus on data, preferably within the affiliate marketing industry and/or media industryPrior experience in accounting and/or accounting aspects of campaignsHighly collaborative with the ability to work amongst a geographically distributed teamEnterprenual mindset with the capacity to shift projects and priorities quickly based on client needs, seasonality, and internal requirementsProficiency in pulling data and creating reporting for campaigns, including traffic numbers, clicks, boosted spend reporting, campaign ROAS, and more.Prior Data Experience Required:Familiar with the data analysis framework, data engineering, statistics, and analytics, and can break complex business requirements into systematical data systems and reports.Proficiency in Excel, e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, Looker reports, AI toolsFamiliar with data cleaning and analysis, along with building reports from scratch

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working with affiliate networks (such as CJ, Rakuten & Impact) and with affiliate data systems (Trackonomics, Affilimate, etc.)

Client-facing sales and/or marketing experience

Salary: $65K- $80KLocation: NYC or remote
